Guild Charter and Guidelines
This is our original guild charter and set of guidelines.
I will be updating this information over the next few days, especially focusing on rank and promotions, and working with instances.
HOW TO BE A GOOD GUILD MEMBER:
1. Be active and play often
2. Use guild chat and tell others how and what you are doing
3. Ask for help when you need it
4. Offer help to others - questing, grinding, cash
5. Be involved in helping others in your class get through their quests
6. Look for other players that you group with and recommend them for recruitment
7. Foster a guild economy - know your friends professions and share materials and goods
THINGS TO AVOID:
1. In guild chat never swear or make sexual references (use good judgement in party chat)
2. Avoid any language that refers to someones gender, race, or sexual preference - this is an automatic boot offense
3. Please avoid any form of negativity in guild chat - if there is a problem please whisper me or an officer
HOW TO ADVANCE IN GUILD:
1. Be active and helpful
2. Level at least 5 times
3. Recommend at least 2 recruits that make it to member status
4. Be a leader your class group
5. Use Cosmos - if you have problems I will help you - this is imperative
6. These things will get you nominated for Veteran status - I expect everyone to make this
7. To attain Officer status you need to demonstrate consistent excellence on all levels - there will be few officer promotions
HOW TO BE USEFUL IN INSTANCES:
1. Do not ask to be in an instance unless you plan to stay the whole time - most take over 2 hours to
complete
2. Be prepared - ammo, food, drink, reagents, potions, etc
3. Be proactive about telling the group which quest you are on (Cosmos makes this much easier)4. MOST IMPORTANT - listen to the party leader and follow their directions regarding pulls and aggro management - especially if you are lower level - breaking this rule will make it difficult to get into future instance groups or get promoted
IDEAS FOR FUN TIMES:
1. Group get togethers - food, drink, contests, games, prizes, dueling etc
2. Flight Path Madness - an Officer will escort a group to get difficult to reach flight paths and tour new places
3. Instances - easy level: Shadowfang, Stockades, Deadmines - mid level: Blackfathom Deep, Scarlet Monastery - difficult: Uldaman, Zul Farrak
4. Raids on lower level horde towns
5. What are your ideas?
Thanks a lot gang - you are a wonderful group and this is the best guild ever!
HAIL TALONS!!
